The FALCON experience.
Welcome to the most phenomenal sailing experience ever, the thrill of Maxi Race boat sailing. The raw power and 20 knot speeds of an 80 foot carbon fiber racing machine are usually only experienced by a few elite crew, now it can be your experience too. Sailing on Falcon is seriously exciting and will be an event you will never forget.

Offshore Experience
Blue water sailing is the dream of many sailors and Force 10 Sailing is the way to learn the skills. Falcon's two to eight day offshore voyages will provide the opportunity for you to experience the thrill of sailing a Maxi race boat while learning the art of offshore sailing. Safety at sea, weather forecasting, sail handling, navigation, heavy weather sailing, seamanship, and a multitude of other subjects will be covered in a two day seminar prior to departure and during the voyage.

Falcon's safe and comfortable learning platform will allow you to experience the life of an offshore racing crew as you learn "hands on" what it takes to sail a yacht across the open ocean. The instructors are circumnavigators and offshore singlehanded sailors with a lifetime of ocean racing and cruising experience and years of coaching experience.

Eight berths are available for each voyage. Come by yourself or bring a group. The crew will be split into three watches and each group will sail 3 hours on and 6 off. Each team will be under the careful supervision of one of our experienced watch captains. There will be plenty of time to learn, watch the amazing sea life, make new friends and enjoy the ride. Sighting land after the trip is always an exciting time and after dropping the anchor we will, of course, take a moment to celebrate our achievement.

The Yacht
Falcon is an eighty foot carbon fiber Maxi racing yacht originally designed to train a crew for the 2000 Americas Cup. For two years she participated in every major ocean race around the world. After a successful racing career she was retired. Now she has a new life as a training vessel. Falcon will be used for offshore training voyages, corporate team building events and youth sailing programs.

Falcon has recently had a major refit including a full cruising interior. This thoroughbred race boat has now become a safe and comfortable platform to learn the art of offshore sailing.
